Insolvency and Corporate Recovery

Forsters' team applies innovative solutions to financial problems facing businesses. We advise lenders and other creditors, corporate and personal debtors and insolvency practitioners on corporate recovery issues, inside and outside of formal insolvency procedures. Many of our lawyers have extensive experience and specialist knowledge gained at Forsters and in their previous firms.

We have particular expertise of dealing with issues in the property and entrepreneurial business spheres.

Recent work includes:

• advising the administrators of a company with a high tech solution for replenishing ATMs on trading and business sale issues;
• advising on a pre-packaged administration and refinancing of a niche cosmetics business;
• acting for the purchaser of two hotels from administrators;  
• acting for administrators on pre-packaged purchase and refinancing of a chain of restaurants; and
• advising a lender on a restructuring of finance and appointment of fixed charge receiver over development property.
