Forsters acts for "rooftop restaurant"

Forsters has acted for Sushi Samba, the leading sushi restaurant chain from the US which opens for business at the end of this month. Sushi Samba showcases the cultures of Japan, Brazil and Peru through its highly acclaimed menu, music and design. Forsters acted on the lease, construction and financing arrangements for their first restaurant in the UK. The restaurant is located on the 38th floor of the Heron Tower, and has spectacular views of the city from the outside tables.

Commercial property partner Sophie Hamilton led the Forsters team with construction partner Andrew Parker and corporate partner Craigie Pearson assisted by Simon Osborne. Alun Thomas of Davenport Lyons dealt with licensing aspects. Olswang partner Jonathan Lewis acted for Heron.
