Forsters advises Warner Bros. on major new London studio

Forsters has advised Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden Limited on the relocation of its award winning audio post production house, Warner Bros. De Lane Lea (WBDLL) to a brand new home in Soho. Working in partnership with Soho Estates, they will develop a new world class sound and picture post facility within Ilona Rose House, a major new development currently under construction.

The cutting-edge, 25,000 sq ft facility will offer a wide range of creative talent and innovative services, including four sound re-recording stages, one of which is on a scale that rivals those operated in Hollywood.

WBDLL is expecting to move in 2021 when Ilona Rose House opens and will continue to operate in its current location at 75 Dean Street until that time.

Commercial Real Estate partner, Glenn Dunn, advised on the transaction, assisted by associate Lorna Dolan. Senior associate Emily Holdstock advised on construction matters.
