Forsters staff donate £2,600 to charities at Christmas

In addition to the Firm's ongoing support for Centrepoint (an organisation that works with disadvantaged young people in London), Forsters has made a Christmas donation to three charities: Crisis at Christmas, Shelter and Christian Aid.

Managing Partner, Paul Roberts said: "Crisis at Christmas, Shelter and Christian Aid are all well known for the work they do. As a firm we take our responsibilities to the wider community in which we live and work seriously and actively support and encourage a variety of initiatives. During the last 12 months, staff have been raising money for good causes though a number of activities such as sleeping rough, baking, bike rides, runs and walks. We therefore felt that it was right that staff be given a voice in how our Christmas donation be split, and so asked them to vote for which charity they would like to receive funds. Voting was brisk and I am pleased to say that the partners will be making donations totalling £2,600. I am sure these monies will be put to great use and would like to thank everyone for their continued support and enthusiasm in fund raising for those less fortunate and for the hard work and dedication of the charities concerned."

Our Insights

"Forsters had already hugely increased in size and turnover in the last ten years, and this move has really added to that"  on the arrival of the private client team from Gowling WLG.
