Forsters team Sleep Out for Centrepoint

Centrepoint is the UK’s leading charity for homeless young people and Sleep Out is one of Centrepoint's flagship fundraising events. Over 2,000 people slept out on 24 November 2016 to raise money for Centrepoint and over 1,000 of those were in London.

Forsters largest ever Sleepout team (which included Victoria Edwards, Helen Marsh, Penny Elliott, Craig Thompson, Sarah Cook, Helen Streeton, Rowena Marshall, Lauren Archer, Tori Beat, Gethen Sasanow, Georgina Haddon and Ben Brayford) braved freezing temperatures to sleep out on the Greenwich Peninsula alongside more than 1,000 others.  Forsters has been involved in the Sleepout since it begun and has supported Centrepoint as the firm's charity for many years raising over £325,000 in that time.

We are delighted to have exceeded our fundraising target and have (so far) raised over £18,000.  A big thank you to all the clients, contacts, colleagues, friends and family who sponsored us.

Victoria Edwards, Partner at Forsters, said: We are very proud to support Centrepoint and the wonderful work they do for homeless and vulnerable young people. Their aim is to put these young people back on their feet and give them the life skills to make a change in their lives. The money raised from sleeping out this year will go some way to support the charity's amazing efforts."
