Elizabeth Oxendale

Senior Associate, Property Litigation

Elizabeth is experienced in both commercial and residential litigation and has particular expertise in landlord-tenant matters.

On the commercial side she frequently works on commercial lease renewals, terminating commercial leases and debt claims. On the residential side she is instructed in relation to tenant breaches, obtaining possession, lease extensions, right to manage claims, rights of first refusal, enfranchisement matters and service charge consultations.  She also has experience in insolvency work including dealing with tenants in administration and presenting bankruptcy and winding up petitions. Where possible Elizabeth will always seek to resolve a dispute in the most cost-effective way before resorting to litigation.

She works for a variety of clients including institutional investors, estates, individuals and charities.

Elizabeth trained at Forsters and qualified into the property litigation team in 2017. Prior to this she worked as a paralegal in the Forsters Dispute Resolution team for two years.
