Our approach – COVID-19

I would like to keep you updated with the ongoing steps that Forsters is taking to ensure complete continuity of service to our clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. At the heart of our COVID-19 activity is a core Business Continuity Leadership Team that I am part of. The team also includes our Management Group and key Business Service Heads.

Forsters continues to follow the guidance provided by the UK Government and is operating on a completely agile basis. All partners and staff are working from home, the only exception being that a very small number of colleagues are visiting our office from time to time in order to undertake business critical work that cannot be performed from home. All our teams have a clear plan, and we continue to provide a high-quality and seamless service to our domestic and international clients.

We have recently signed up to the C-19 Business Pledge founded by former UK Cabinet Minister Rt Hon. Justine Greening and entrepreneur David Harrison; the pledge has already been signed by over 300 organisations globally, collectively covering over 3 million people. You can read more about our commitment here.

It is business as usual at Forsters and we would be delighted to hear from you if we can assist you in any way. Everyone at Forsters can be contacted via phone or email as always and until our offices open again we can arrange either telephone or online meetings with you. We are publishing regular content to our social media channels to help and support clients affected by COVID-19, and you can view our dedicated COVID-19 Hub area. Additionally, our full legal service guide to protecting your interests is here.

If you would like to talk to us, whether about our plans relating to COVID-19 or about anything else, please feel free to contact me or your usual Forsters partner contact.

These are uncertain times for all of us and our thoughts are with those who have been affected by the outbreak. As a firm our priority is the health and wellbeing of our partners and staff and of everybody we work with – our clients, our contacts and our suppliers.

With best wishes

Emily Exton
Managing Partner
