A FLIP-ping fabulous affair

On Wednesday 27 March, associates and senior associates from across Forsters’ real estate teams hosted the first Future Leaders in Property (“FLIP”) event of 2019.

Over 80 guests from some of Forsters’ key clients and contacts, such as The Crown Estate, LaSalle, BMO Real Estate Partners, Mayfair Capital, Montagu Evans and many others, joined the Forsters hosts for a night of networking and quizzing at Browns in Covent Garden.

The evening began with drinks and canapés in the aptly named Barristers’ Chambers, with hosts and guests then making their way through to the Judges’ Chambers for the quiz. Alex, the lively quiz master, put the teams to task with 40 questions ranging from cryptic underground anagrams to celebrity knowledge, with the odd property question here and there. The teams battled it out through the four rounds, whilst enjoying food and drinks at their tables. The final scores were close, but it was “In Our Element”, headed up by Alexandra Townsend-Wheeler and Sarah Harte with guests from Element Capital, Danescroft and Montagu Evans, who were crowned the winners and each scooped a bottle of champagne. The losing team (who will remain nameless) each received their own FLIP branded wooden spoon as a keepsake from the evening.

After the quiz, hosts and guests stayed for more drinks and mingling, with the after party continuing over the road.

A very enjoyable evening was had by all, with the feedback from guests being nothing but positive.

The FLIP team will be arranging and hosting a technical event later this year, details of which will be circulated shortly.
