Forsters further expands HNW Residential Property team
Forsters, one of the pre-eminent private wealth and real estate law firms, welcomes a Partner and two Associates to its leading HNW Residential Property team.
Forsters, home to the largest dedicated Residential Property team in the London market, is delighted to announce the arrival of Partner Robert Barham and Associates Freddie Hunter and Harriet Beswick, who have joined the firm from Cripps Pemberton Greenish. Robert’s appointment is effective from May and Freddie and Harriet joined the firm in April. Their arrival at Forsters closely follows the appointment of Partner Charles Miéville, who also joined the firm’s specialist High Net Worth Residential Property team from Cripps Pemberton Greenish in February.
Robert joins the group with a strong following of long-standing clients, including HNW individuals and corporate entities. He works with a number of the leading London Estates and his experience includes acting for lenders, trustees and international clients. Robert is a leading specialist in the law relating to London Garden Squares and is retained by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea to advise the committees that run garden squares in the borough. Both Robert and Charles are acknowledged as leaders in their field in the Chambers HNW Guide and The Legal 500 directories.
The arrival of Robert creates a 34-strong team of fee-earners including six partners, making the practice the largest and most prominent specialist HNW Residential Property group in the London legal market. The addition of Robert, Charles, Harriet and Freddie is part of Forsters' ongoing strategy to be the firm of choice for clients seeking to transact high value assets in super prime Central London and the leading regional locations. The Residential Property team occupies a unique position in the market through its size and depth of specialist HNW expertise, and enjoys an exceptional reputation as one of the leading firms advising domestic and international clients on the sale, purchase and financing of prime Central London property.
