Robert Laird Craig noted as Top 35 Under 35

Last night Bankside Gallery was the setting for the 2015 eprivateclient and Cazenove Capital Management's Top 35 Under 35 champagne reception.  The Awards recognise the achievements being made by private wealth professionals under the age of 35.

This year, Forsters' Robert Laird Craig received recognition for his achievements as a private client lawyer.  Robert primarily advises UK domestic clients, dealing with a broad range of matters, including complex tax planning, wills, trusts, mental capacity issues and philanthropy.  As well as acting for individuals, Robert advises large families and their trustees, managing day-to-day matters and devising and implementing succession plans.

Fiona Smith, joint head of Private Client said:  "In addition to dealing with all the usual non-contentious matters of private client work, Robert has a keen interest in contentious probate and trust matters.  He has worked hard to straddle the lines between the private client and dispute resolution teams.  As a result, he has gained significant experience in mediation and dispute resolution settlement.  His sensitive, yet pragmatic approach has been lauded by clients and counsel alike, whilst his calm, self-assured manner engenders confidence in everyone who deals with him.  His recognition is well deserved."

Our Insights

"Dynamic, totally focused and punchy, the Forsters Dispute Resolution practice extends from complex private client disputes to multi-million pound international commercial claims. The firm is a real alternative to the Magic Circle."
