Forsters completes £30m pension fund deals

Forsters has acted on two transactions for PFA Pensions and ICL Pension Trust Limited; the two deals are worth a total of nearly £30m.

The first, the sale of an office building on Reading's King's Road for PFA, was for £19m. PFA is the largest pension fund in Denmark and a longstanding client of Forsters.

In a separate transaction, Forsters acted on the purchase of Trident Trade Park in Cardiff for ICL Pension Trust Limited for £9.3m. Trident Trade Park comprises a ten unit multi-let trade and industrial estate of approximately 206, 393 sq feet (19,174 sq m) with occupiers including Wolseley UK Ltd, BSS Group Ltd and Gardiner & Theobold LLP .

Forsters' senior partner, Guy Jordan, acted on both transactions assisted by Peter Selwyn. Ian Craig of Nabarro acted for the purchasers of Abbey Gardens, King's Road, Reading . Kevin Booth of Eversheds acted for the sellers of Trident Park, Ocean Way, Cardiff.
