Christopher BaconSolicitor (Admitted in Victoria, Australia), Dispute Resolution
Christopher has extensive experience with multi-jurisdictional litigation and the cross-border complexities that often flow from such disputes. His work on a number of large confidential international disputes has necessitated him working with lawyers in the Middle East, Asia, Europe, Switzerland and the US.
Christopher regularly acts for both corporations and high net worth individuals in commercial or general litigation matters. He has a wide and varied practice, with experience in recent years with disputes involving, variously, complex breach of contract claims, professional negligence, defamation, debt recovery, and even an alleged violation of the Rules of Golf.
Prior to joining Forsters in 2010, Christopher worked for three years in the London office of City firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. Christopher also has significant experience of life from the client's perspective, having worked in the role of in-house counsel for two large corporates on secondment, and on matters requiring extensive on-site day-to-day work with his clients.
