Katherine HarperSenior Associate, Dispute Resolution
Katherine is a Senior Associate in the Dispute Resolution team.
She specialises in litigation and arbitration and has experience in advising on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes for international and domestic clients. While Katherine maintains a broad practice area, she has particular experience in disputes arising in the financial services sector. She also has experience of regulatory enforcement, having undertaken a secondment to the Regulatory Action Division of the Prudential Regulation Authority in 2016.
Katherine also has an interest in mediation and gained accreditation as a mediator from the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution in 2018.
She sits on the committee of the Law Society's Civil Litigation Section, which seeks to provide its members with support and advice and enable the sharing of best practice with peers.
Katherine graduated in 2005 with a degree in International Relations from the University of St. Andrews, she took the GPL in 2006 and the LPC in 2007.
She trained at Slaughter and May and qualified there as a Solicitor in the dispute resolution team in 2009. Katherine first joined Forsters in 2010 and returned in 2020. In the interim, she was an Associate at Watson, Farley & Williams LLP and a Knowledge Lawyer at Baker & McKenzie LLP.
