Forsters advise Sony Pictures on London HQ relocation

Forsters has advised Sony Pictures Entertainment (“Sony Pictures”) on the pre-letting of 77,200 sq ft of office space at Derwent London’s Brunel Building in Paddington, London.

Construction of the seventeen storey building is due to reach completion in the first half of 2019. Sony Pictures will occupy the tenth to thirteenth floors, plus part of the ninth floor, on a 15 year lease. The 243,000 sq ft office scheme is situated in a prime canal-side location adjacent to Paddington station, which the Elizabeth line will join in December 2018.

Commercial Real Estate head of group Matthew Swainston advised Sony Pictures on the pre-letting arrangements, assisted by Glenn Dunn, head of Forsters’ corporate occupiers group, and senior associate Owen Spencer.
