Forsters responds to the HMRC consultation
Forsters responds to the HMRC consultation regarding the radical changes to the taxation of gains by non-residents in respect of UK land, saying that this is the wrong time for such a massive overhaul and in particular care must be taken not to prejudice overseas exempt investors. However, simplifying the overly complex taxation of residential property is welcome.
