When There’s a Will in England, There’s a Way – Fiona Smith quoted in the NY Times

Private Client partner, Fiona Smith’s comments have been published in The New York Times' article entitled ‘When There’s a Will in England, There’s a Way’.

The article highlights the various measures people are taking to ensure two witnesses are present at the signing on a will. Fiona comments on the memorable case of Honora Jenkins, whose will stood after she had witnessed the document being signed through a window. This case reassures lawyers two and a half centuries later that witnessing a will through a window is legal.
