Emma Jones

Senior Associate, Private Client

Emma is a Senior Associate in the Private Client team specialising in estate administration and probate.

She has a broad range of experience dealing with the administration of both testate (where there is a valid will) and intestate (where there is no valid will) estates. Her work includes administering cross-border estates such as those of foreign nationals who owned assets in the UK and estates of UK nationals who owned assets abroad. She also advises on all the ancillary aspects of probate such as deeds of variation and will trusts. Her experience includes advising high profile individuals particularly those from the creative industries.

Emma helps her clients navigate the confusion and formalities of the estate administration process with her pragmatic, empathetic and supportive approach.

She studied law at the University of Reading and trained in Kent. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2016 and moved to London in 2019 to join Clintons’ Private Client team and was awarded the STEP Diploma in Trusts and Estates (England and Wales) in 2019. Emma joined Forsters in 2021.
