Associate, Commercial Real EstateTom has a broad range of experience within the commercial real estate sector, focusing largely on the acquisition, management and disposal of residential and mixed use development for affordable housing providers.
His work includes advising on the due diligence and acquisition of development sites, the negotiation of lease agreements relating to on-site commercial lettings, infrastructure agreements and other ongoing asset management matters.
Tom uses his previous experience in the real estate market to advise clients on the most efficient and commercially appropriate solution on any given matter and provides such advice in a proactive and straightforward manner taking into account the client’s specific end goal.
He has previously advised private developers, PLC housebuilders, land promoters and affordable housing providers on the acquisition and disposal of land for both residential and mixed used development, and therefore has an overarching appreciation of the commercial, regulatory and legal considerations of registered proprietors throughout the acquisition, ongoing management and disposal of a development site.
Tom completed his training contract and qualified as a solicitor at Gateley Plc in September 2020 before joining Forsters in September 2023.
