He advises on the resolution of all types of construction dispute, from detailed final account disputes and complex delay claims to defects arising from poor workmanship and negligent design.
He has a deep understanding of the way construction projects are delivered and the wide range of defects that can arise in completed buildings, including issues affecting external wall systems, structures, and mechanical and electrical systems such as heating, cooling, air conditioning, ventilation, water and drainage.
Andrew regularly advises clients on live construction projects where issues have arisen, helping to resolve them before they develop into formal disputes. Where a dispute cannot be avoided, he takes a logical and organised approach to help clients navigate the pre-action process and achieve the best possible outcome, whether through settlement, mediation, arbitration, adjudication or court proceedings.
