Key experience

Global communications and reputation management firm

We advise a global communications and reputation management firm. We provide regular assistance and advice on a variety of employment law related matters including restructures, TUPE, HR investigations and departure negotiations.

Acquisition of a UK-based musical instruments parts business

We advised a buyer on the acquisition of a UK-based musical instruments parts business on the connected employee transfer mechanism. We negotiated key employment documents for the owners of the business (who were being retained by the buyer), including settlement agreements, new service agreements and intellectual property deeds of assignment.

An international family office

We advise an international Family Office on a wide range of employment law issues and are trusted advisers to its founder. We provide a full service in relation to the employment advice needed in respect of all areas of the Family Office’s coverage and asset classes.

Board of a property PLC

We provide the Board of a property PLC with strategic and governance advice as well as advising on all their day-to-day employment issues, both contentious and non-contentious, as well as more focussed advice to the Board.

We advise our client who is part of the BNP Paribas Group. We provide technical legal and strategic advice in respect of all types of employment matters, including advising on senior employee exits, advising on tricky TUPE transfers and advising on holiday pay issues.

Institutional brokerage firm

We advised an institutional brokerage firm, in a £multi-million dispute involving a broking team who reneged on their obligations in favour of staying with their existing brokerage. We advised throughout the process from drafting bespoke contracts of employment, to enforcing those obligations by issuing High Court proceedings and securing a substantial settlement.
