Forsters is not just another law firm; our ability to meet the exacting requirements of our clients is enhanced by our approach, size and location. We do not seek to offer everything to everyone, but to excel at what we do, as leaders in our chosen fields.
Discover the Firm Opportunities Beyond Your Work
At Forsters, we take happiness seriously! We offer a range of networking opportunities and plenty of firm-wide socials and clubs you can join; including football, netball, running, rounders, run club, yoga, choir, and even book club. We encourage you to immerse yourself into the full Forsters experience by joining our regular firm-wide and team-based events.
We are also driven by what really matters, and you can also get involved with our Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) committee and charity networks, which host fantastic events throughout the year. The firm also organises a lunch club that supports a local church by providing meals to those in need every Thursday.
For more details on these opportunities, visit our Corporate Social Responsibility pages. We’re excited for you to get involved and experience everything Forsters has to offer.
Our values
Our values are important to us and are at the heart of the way we interact with each other and with our clients. These values explain who we are and what we are about. They reflect our ambition to make a difference to the people we work with and the clients we represent.
- We collaborate for excellence
- We are driven by what really matters
- We support every person to achieve
- We take happiness seriously
Diversity
Encouraging individuality is very much part of the Forsters culture. The firm provides an environment which allows everyone to develop and grow regardless of age, sex, sexual orientation, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, maternity or pregnancy, race, religion or belief. At Forsters we are committed to ensuring that each member of the firm treats all of their colleagues with dignity and respect.
We have launched an Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) strategy, which sets out the firm’s diversity and inclusion commitments over the next two years. This includes training for all partners and staff, listening to staff through a firmwide D&I survey, internal and external support programmes, and making more public diversity and inclusion commitments.
An all inclusive culture
We aim to foster an environment which focuses on the talent and potential of each and every one of our people. Forsters is somewhere individuals from all types of backgrounds are able to flourish and achieve their ambitions in a happy, cohesive and supportive environment.
We actively promote an environment which welcomes individuals from diverse backgrounds. Some differences, such as age, gender and ethnicity, may be immediately apparent but other differences such as education, social background, religion and sexual orientation may not be apparent at all.
Forsters has an inclusive culture in which every person is valued and is allowed to make an individual contribution in a working environment which is free from any form of discrimination.
Forsters is committed to being a diverse and inclusive place in which to work and conducts an annual survey of its staff.
