Jamie advises on the legal and strategic issues arising from the acquisition, ownership and management of rural property such as farms, landed estates, and country houses. His practice spans the country, acting for clients based in London, West Sussex, Wiltshire, Shropshire and Cumbria.
He advises on a broad range of transactional and advisory matters, including estate management, refinancing, strategic development, agricultural tenancies and complex land law issues. He works closely with landed estates, families and trustees, as well as other professional advisers, to deliver practical solutions tailored to his clients’ long-term objectives. He often collaborates with Forsters’ Private Client and Corporate teams to advise clients on their succession planning.
Jamie has a particular interest in partnership structures and the role they can play as effective business and estate planning tools.
