Double award win for Forsters' Private Wealth team at the prestigious STEP Private Client Awards
We are delighted to announce that Forsters has won two awards at the 2020 STEP Private Client Awards:
- International Legal Team of the Year (midsize firm)
- Private Client Legal Team of the Year (midsize firm)
Forsters received the awards at a virtual award ceremony on 9 December. The firm was also shortlisted for Contentious Trusts and Estates Team of the Year (midsize firm) and Family Business Advisory Practice of the Year.
The judges commented that Forsters "have clearly established themselves as a leading international firm and demonstrate a deep understanding of clients' needs and a singular focus to deliver the best possible service through varied expertise and through constantly seeking to innovate, to learn and to stay relevant to families."
The firm was noted as having "provided compelling examples of complex and demanding issues involving not only high value planning and transactions but complexity across jurisdictions, generations and inter-family conflict with their areas of specialisation going beyond the traditional to focus on niche and novel areas."
The firm's private wealth group is delighted to have been awarded STEP Private Client Legal Team of the Year for the third consecutive year. STEP is known throughout the private client world as a celebration of excellence of practitioners within the field. All entries for its annual awards go through a rigorous, peer-led judging process. This year saw a record number of entries, with 319 submissions received from 27 countries.
