Lianne Baker

Knowledge Development Lawyer, Corporate

Lianne is a Knowledge Development Lawyer in the Corporate team, primarily focussing on corporate law but also covering banking, employment and corporate tax. Her main areas of expertise include M&A, joint ventures, shareholder and partnership arrangements and commercial contracts.

Lianne is responsible for ensuring that the Corporate team is up-to-date in relation to all relevant legal and market developments. She provides legal and market updates, arranges training opportunities, writes know-how documents and drafts and updates the Corporate team’s precedent bank.

She also assists with business development, in particular, coordinating, writing and reviewing articles and thought pieces relating to corporate, banking, employment and corporate tax.

Lianne graduated from Oxford University and qualified at White & Case in 2005 before joining Forsters as an Associate in 2006. She took a career break in 2012, returning to the firm in her current role in 2019.
