Louise Marin-Bataller

Senior Associate, Commercial Real Estate

Louise is a Senior Associate in our Commercial Real Estate team.

She has experience across a broad range of commercial property transactions including acquisitions and dispositions of high value assets, financing and refinancing of complex property assets, leasing and property management in a range of commercial real estate sectors. She has significant experience of property development for residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes acting for developers and landowners from initial land acquisition through master planning to eventual estate management or disposition. Her work often involves negotiating development agreements, options, overage, pre-emption and property management agreements, and she has experience dealing with environmental constraints of contaminated sites alongside dealing with the financing of all kinds of property assets.

She acts for a variety of clients including developers, landowners, landlords and high net worth individuals.

Louise graduated from Exeter University with an LLB in law and qualified in 2001 after a training contract that included a secondment to Marks & Spencer. She previously spent 10 year at Travers Smith, including a secondment to RBS where she gained significant experience dealing with distressed property assets.

She joined Forsters in 2023.
