Catharine Bell admitted as a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trusts Law

Private Client and CTE partner Catharine Bell has been admitted as a member of the International Academy of Estate and Trusts Law.

The International Academy of Estate and Trusts Law (TIAETL) is a prestigious organisation, that brings together Academicians across the globe to study and share knowledge about the substantive requirements and tax consequences of the transfer of wealth.

Membership is by invitation only and is highly selective. Catharine was nominated and successfully gained membership as a result of her industry leading expertise in both contentious and non-contentious work. All Academicians must have distinguished themselves through lecturing, writing or participation in professional organisations and must also have demonstrated a significant interest in the continuing development of the law of their own countries.

As a member of the TIAETL Catharine joins an elite group made up of practitioners and professionals from across 41 countries. Catharine Bell commented: “I am honoured to become a member of TIAETL and look forward to meeting my fellow Academicians at the annual meeting to discuss the preeminent matters in estate planning, probate and trust law.”

"They are very competent and very experienced contentious trusts solicitors, with a number of partners who are experienced in this field. They take a sensible approach to litigation."
