Forsters advise Manex Properties Limited in relation to the purchase and financing of Drury House, Covent Garden

Forsters has advised new client, Manex Properties (Manex) a company operated by Excellion Capital, on its first UK acquisition. Manex purchased the freehold interest in Drury House, Covent Garden at a purchase price of £43.75 million. Forsters provided both the finance and commercial real estate advice to Manex. Our integrated approach brings together lawyers experienced in banking and real estate, to provide a seamless service for our real estate clients.

The mixed-use building is currently multi-let with office tenants on the upper floors and two restaurants on the ground floor.

Head of Commercial Real Estate, Matthew Swainston, led on the commercial real estate aspects of the deal, assisted by senior associate Katie Hibbs.

Banking and Finance partner, Simon Collins, led on the finance aspects, assisted by associate Catriona Stenhouse.

Michael Elliott advised Manex, and the seller, DTZ Investors, were advised by Allsop LLP.
