Forsters appoints Guy Abrahams as a Private Client Partner

Forsters LLP, one of London’s pre-eminent private client firms, today announces the appointment of Guy Abrahams as a partner in its Private Client Group.  Guy, who has been with Forsters for seven years, advises mainly UK-based clients in relation to tax, trusts and succession planning.

Guy becomes the eleventh partner in the group, which is already one of the largest in London, with over thirty private client lawyers advising both UK and international high net worth individuals, trustees, charities, banks, family offices and trust companies.  Earlier this month Forsters announced its proposed acquisition of the Gowling WLG London Private Client business, which will add another four partners and ten lawyers to the group.

Patrick Harney, head of Private Client at Forsters, said that "Guy will be a great addition to the partnership.  He has a wealth of experience acting for entrepreneurs and other high net worth individuals and their families.  He will play an important part in the continued growth of our onshore tax and trust business".

Guy Abrahams said:"I am delighted to become a partner at such an exciting time for Forsters' private client business and look forward to working with my colleagues to continue building the firm's onshore practice".
