Forsters team complete sale of Woking One

Forsters has advised Wrenbridge and Palmer Capital in relation to the sale and letting of Woking One, an office-led mixed-use scheme in Woking, for £27.2million to Woking Borough Council.

The property, which is prominently located opposite Woking train station, was acquired in 2014 and has been comprehensively redeveloped to provide circa 55,000 sq ft of mixed-use accommodation, including 37,000 sq ft of offices and a combination of retail, residential and restaurants.

Forsters dealt with the initial acquisition and development and subsequently the letting of the scheme. The pre-let of the offices to Regus at a rent of £32 per sq ft provides the largest co-working offering in Woking. Retail/restaurant occupiers include Costa, Loungers and Kokoro.

Senior Partner Smita Edwards led on the advice and was supported by Commercial Real Estate Associate Danielle Kenyon, with Construction advice from Associate Daniel Burr.
