Forsters wins seven Lex 100 medals

Forsters has had a glowing write-up in the latest edition of "Lex 100" – the student guide to the UK's premier law firms for 2012/13. The firm was named a "Lex 100 Winner" in seven out of ten categories of.  These are:

  • Job satisfaction
  • Firm living up to expectations
  • Stress levels
  • Work/life balance
  • Friendliness of the firm
  • Vacation schemes

In the category of friendliness of the firm Forsters scored an impressive 95.3%.

Based on research among current trainees across the UK, the Lex 100 guide is considered to be an objective and impartial guide for law students considering where to train.

The guide includes quotes from Forsters' trainees on what they consider to be  the best things about the firm:

 ''Quality of work'; 'responsibility': 'lack of hierarchy'; 'recognition of the importance of balancing hard work with a personal life'; 'supportive atmosphere'; 'you are encouraged to ask questions'; 'senior people across the firm have been extremely generous with their time'; 'I have made great friends'; 'being in Mayfair on a sunny day’.''
