Jonathan Ross shortlisted for "The Chambers 100"

Jonathan Ross, Forsters head of property litigation, has been shortlisted for the new Chambers 100, “a ranking of the UK's top 100 business lawyers, the crème de la crème – ranked according to their legal capability and the service they provide to their clients” The shortlist of nominees for the 100 is drawn from all the main commercial areas of practice and can be viewed here.

The Chambers 100 only ranks 'business lawyers' who are currently ranked in Chambers UK in the top two bands for individuals or as 'Star Individuals'.

All eligible lawyers are given a score based on the comments they receive from clients and peers. A further score is awarded for recent achievements, consistency of rankings in the Chambers UK Guide over the past ten years, and the competitiveness and commercial significance of their practice area. Those with the highest scores are then included in the shortlist of 200.

Using questionnaires sent to clients, the shortlisted lawyers are scored on such qualities as client service, commercial awareness, and industry knowledge. When all these aspects have been assessed, those lawyers with the highest scores are ranked accordingly in The Chambers 100.

The first Chambers 100 will be published this summer.

Our Insights

“The calibre of the partners and associates is very high compared to other firms. They have a broad depth of experience and technical skill which is not always found in other firms. Their staff retention rates seem high too, which helps the client experience.”
