Patrick Harney is appointed Forsters' Head of Private Client

Forsters today announced the appointment of Patrick Harney to the position of Head of Private Client where he will provide strategic guidance and continue to advise clients.

Patrick joined Forsters in 2007 as a partner in the Private Client team and has over 19 years of experience in tax trust and estate planning in the UK, Ireland and the US.  He is well regarded for advising clients in the UK with US interests.  He is recognised in The Legal 500 and regularly lectures at international trust and estates conferences.

He succeeds partners Fiona Smith and Andrew Lane who have held the position jointly and will now fully focus on client commitments.

Forsters' Private Client team is a core practice in the firm with almost 40 specialists, including 10 partners, advising high net worth individuals, families and their business interests.
