PedElling to Rome – Forsters partners cycle 400km for charity

Commercial Real Estate partner Victoria Towers and Residential partner Helen Marsh have completed a three day 400km cycle ride which raised £50,000 for charity Coram.

The annual event called PedElle, organised by Club Peloton and sponsored by Legal & General Investment Management Real Assets, brings together women in the property industry for the networking ride.

This year, the 49 strong team of women cycled from Siena to Rome, taking on the blazing Tuscan sun and hills. The team’s efforts were rewarded with some stunning countryside, superb food and excellent company.

Victoria Towers commented "PedElle is an amazing opportunity to get to know some fantastic women who work in property, network and share such a wonderful experience. I am delighted to have taken part and am already thinking about next year!"

Helen Marsh added "I am a very keen cyclist so am fortunate to get to combine work with pleasure in this way. (Although the hills in the scorching heat made this a massive challenge as well as a joy). The team work and camaraderie amongst the cycling ladies really was something to behold. Congratulations to all those who took and part and helped raise money for an excellent charity".

Victoria and Helen joined Miri Stickland on our More Than Law podcast to talk about their experience.

Our Insights

I wanted to train at a firm that had a good culture and variety of and responsibility in work. I have found both to be true at Forsters.
