Forsters acts on further letting at Ropemaker Place

The Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd part of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, has completed a further lease in British Land's Ropemaker Place development in the City. The 20 storey building is one of the City's most sustainable developments and achieved practical completion in May 2009. The Bank already occupies several floors in the building and has recently taken a new sub-lease of Level 9 comprising 28,000 square feet from Macquarie Bank.

The Bank has signed a ten year term at an initial rent of just over £1.4 m per annum following expiry of an initial rent free period, equating to £49.50 per square foot.
