Rockspring disposes of Midtown landmark

Forsters has advised Rockspring Property Investment Managers on the sale of Fox Court, London WC1 for a purchase price of £70 million.

The landmark midtown building comprises high-quality office accommodation. It was substantially refurbished in 1996 with further works in 2007 and 2011 and totals 101,661 sq ft of office and ancillary space over sub-basement, basement, ground and seven upper floors.

Planning permission has recently been granted to provide a further 25,263 sq ft of new office and retail space over ground, first, second and third floors, as well as for the major refurbishment of the Gray’s Inn Road entrance and reception area.

Commercial Real Estate partner, Victoria Towers advised on the sale, assisted by Amy France. Construction matters were deal with by partner and Head of Construction, Sarah Cook, assisted by Alastair Robertson. Prior to the disposal, Forsters also advised Rockspring on the acquisition and active management of the asset.
