Chris Myers

Partner and Head of International Residential Real Estate

Chris is a residential property lawyer with over 15 years’ experience of working within the Central London property market. He has extensive experience of all types of property and specialises in advising the developers of luxury residential developments and helping non UK domiciled clients acquire UK property.

His practice boasts expertise in both residential and mixed-use developments. Chris is highly knowledgeable in advising on large-scale developments and acting for developers in setting-up and managing unit sale transactions, as well as providing guidance on the strategic sales issues across the scheme.

When acting for investors, Chris works closely with the tax and trust specialists at Forsters advising international clients on the tax implications and appropriate structuring for UK property ownership.

Chris is ranked in the Chambers HNW 2021 guide for his work on high value residential matters and is recognised as a Top Recommended Property Lawyer in the Spear's Property Advisers Index 2021. He is described as "pragmatic and practical" and has been acknowledged for his client-focused approach and determination to find the resolution that is in their best interest.

Chris qualified at Pemberton Greenish in Chelsea, joined Forsters in 2007 and became a Partner in 2012.
