In defence of the trust: Guy Abrahams writes for IFA Magazine

Private Client partner, Guy Abrahams' article entitled 'In defence of the trust' was published in IFA Magazine.

In the article Guy explains why trusts remain a vital wealth planning tool despite often being the target of media vilification, and of ever more governmental regulation. Guy explains the differences between life interest trusts, discretionary trusts and the potential alternative; family investment companies (FICs). He argues that trusts, in combination with FICs or otherwise, should be regarded as a vital and legitimate tool by anyone seeking to advise on matters of succession.
