Fiona Smith quoted in The Sunday Telegraph on how high net worth individuals are planning for a potential Labour government

Private Client partner, Fiona Smith’s comments were published in the Sunday Telegraph’s article on Labour’s manifesto to implement new tax rates and the implications such changes will have on high net worth individuals.

In her comments, Fiona explains how some UK individuals are moving to protect themselves: “moving their assets out is the obvious thing, taking their investment away.  I have seen clients looking at and actually moving money into dollars and having it custodied outside of the UK. Others
are accelerating existing plans, such as making financial “gifts” to children early or realising assets sooner.”
