Jo Edwards interviewed on Talk Radio about the law for unmarried couples
Head of Family, Jo Edwards was interviewed on Talk Radio by Mike Graham about new statistics released by the Office for National Statistics showing trends in living arrangements and the fact that unmarried couples continue to be the fastest growing family type in the UK.
Jo also talked about a story published the day before showing the lack of rights for unmarried couples when one of them dies. Jo talked about practical ways in which unmarried couples may specify how they are to be provided for financially if they separate or if one of them dies during the relationship; what impact the introduction of civil partnerships for all will have; and calls for the law to be changed.
