Jo Edwards urges Brad and Angelina to put their children first

Upon news that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were to divorce, the Press Association and Press & Journal quoted Jo on the importance of separating parents putting their children first and going to mediation if possible.

If the Jolie-Pitt divorce were taking place in this country it is likely that any financial hearing would be open to the press and that there would be a reported judgment if the matter went all the way to trial; but any discussions in relation to the children , initially at least, would take place privately.  Jo discussed the importance of keeping children protected from publicity about their parents' divorce, whatever their background, and using alternatives such as mediation to achieve that.
