Matthew Brunsdon Tully quoted in ePrivateclient and New Law Journal on the ONS Divorce statistics

Family Partner, Matthew Brunsdon Tully's comments were published in ePrivateclient's article 'Divorce rate drops to lowest level since 1971 – family lawyers react' and in the New Law Journal's article 'Love, Marriage and Divorce'.

Matthew comments of the speculation that petitions may have been delayed as a result of the underfunded court system. He warns that 'we can expect to see this figure increase slightly next year as Decrees Absolute are granted for the uptick in petitions processed early in 2018 - a backlog from 2017, when the number of petitions seemed anomalously low'.
