Rosie Schumm quoted in The Times Brief on landmark Supreme Court divorce case

Leading family lawyer, Rosie Schumm, was quoted in The Times Brief discussing the landmark case of Graham Mills as he challenges a ruling that maintenance awarded to his ex-wife not only continue but increase since their divorce back in 2002.

Rosie highlights the interest surrounding the approach of the family courts to the issue of spousal maintenance after divorce and points out growing support for a “transition to independence” and a move away from spousal maintenance for life, but that such an approach is not right in every case.
