Simon Blain quoted in the Financial Times on non-domicile divorces in London

Family Partner, Simon Blain's comments have been published in the Financial Times article entitled 'Court of Appeal allows Russian to bring $6bn divorce claim in London'.

The Court of Appeal has overturned a lower ruling and decided that the former wife of one of Russia’s richest men can bring her $6 billion divorce claim in England.

In his comments Simon explains that “this case will draw attention to the fact that it is an option for those who have received divorce settlements overseas to come to London to get a second bite at the cherry. Now Britain has left the EU, it may be that EU nationals also use the legislation to bring cases in London”.
