Rosie Schumm discusses the implications of the new divorce forms

Family partner, Rosie Schumm was interviewed by The Telegraph about the new divorce forms and shared her thoughts.

The new form may encourage the applying party to include details of adultery and to name the co-respondent in their application.  Rosie Schumm, said this section of the form could have been drafted with "more thought" to avoid this issue as there is a danger that people will include more details than they used to.  However, she added that the form brought with it benefits, including an option for a petitioner to ask that their address be hidden from their former partner, which could help victims of domestic abuse who do not want to disclose where they live.

Our Insights

"They are fantastic. I feel like they always have the clients' best interests at heart. I always feel like I am in a very safe pair of hands and they are very commercial when needed."
