Rory Carter

Associate, Contentious Trusts and Estates

Rory is a Contentious Trusts and Estates lawyer with particular experience in advising family offices, trustees and beneficiaries on resolving their disputes.

He has a strong background in private client law having advised agricultural farms and estates, entrepreneurs and high net worth individuals on non-contentious matters before specialising in dispute resolution.

Rory studied Spanish at the University of Leeds and spent a year studying abroad at Universidad Católica Argentina, Buenos Aires. He then completed his legal studies at the University of Law before training at Wilsons Solicitors LLP. Rory moved to Wedlake Bell LLP on qualification where he spent four years prior to moving to Forsters in October 2021.
