Why this team?
The team has had phenomenal success over the last few years, acting for well-known clients in sectors including film and studios, sports, hotels and leisure, industrials and logistics, living and retail. We’re recruiting additional non-contentious construction lawyers to help support our delivery of first-class construction advice to our clients.
We specialise in the UK real estate market. In addition to having a strong client base of our own (which spans developers, contractors, consultants and funds), the team benefits from the firm’s specialisms in Private Wealth and Commercial Real Estate and acts for many ultra-high net worths and large institutions.
Day-to-day, we advise on the negotiation of a wide range of construction documentation, including building contracts, consultant appointments, collateral warranties, bonds, guarantees and escrow agreements. Alongside our Commercial Real Estate colleagues, we advise on the construction aspects of development agreements, funding arrangements, agreements for lease, and property transactions.
We also work closely with our Construction Disputes team to provide clients with seamless advice where issues arise on construction projects.
