Top tip for delayed grant applications…
It’s encouraging to see online grant applications being issued more swiftly, with many grants being received within a few weeks of submission! A welcome improvement for those navigating the probate process.
However, paper grant applications are still facing delays, as these are usually more complex and require greater attention from HMCTS Probate.
Top tip: If you have an application that’s been outstanding for 12+ weeks, consider requesting a virtual surgery meeting with HMCTS Probate by emailing [email protected]. These meetings provide the opportunity to discuss the specifics of your case with an actual person to move things forward.
