Andrew is a Partner in the Commercial Real Estate team and has broad experience advising developers and investors across a range of real estate sectors, including projects involving external financing. His work includes significant infrastructure projects, commercial, mixed-use and residential developments, as well as the acquisition and disposal of office, industrial and retail assets.
He has particular expertise in development projects across a variety of sectors and in advising commercial real estate developers and investors on the incorporation of renewable technologies, including solar panels and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Andrew is known for his collaborative approach and enjoys working on complex, multi-party projects. He regularly works alongside colleagues in the Construction, Planning and Banking and Finance teams, bringing together specialist expertise to support clients’ objectives. Clients recognise him as a calm and pragmatic adviser who takes the time to understand their businesses and projects.
As a member of the Commercial Real Estate team’s Knowledge, Innovation and Tech group, Andrew helps assess developments in legal technology and artificial intelligence, including potential use cases for the firm and its clients. He is involved in product trials and knowledge-sharing initiatives for lawyers across the firm. Andrew is also a volunteer and mentor for the Social Mobility Foundation and supports the development of junior lawyers within the Commercial Real Estate team.
