We acted for the Santander Pension Fund (LaSalle) in the disposal of 2 London Bridge, London. The building was sold to ACAI, a private development/investment company, for £59.9 million, in August 2022. The highly prominent office building in the heart of the South Bank boasts panoramic views of the River Thames and benefits from a 40 metre frontage to London Bridge, a key arterial route connecting South Bank to the core of the City of London. It comprises 50,527 sq ft of office and retail accommodation arranged over ground and five upper floors, with the building split into two distinctive east and west sections on either side of a central core – and was held by the client on a predominantly freehold basis. Occupiers include The Glaziers Hall and Grind & Co.
