We acted for the Santander Pension Fund (LaSalle) in the disposal of 85 London Wall, London. The building was sold to the freeholder, the City of London Corporation, for £34.7 million, in October 2022. 85 London Wall is a landmark building in the heart of the City. The building features a stylish, contemporary reception and was refurbished by our client to a Cat A plus specification. It is a multi-let building (38,000 sq ft over 6 floors) consisting of part office and part retail – which was held by the client on a geared long-leasehold basis. Occupiers include Morgan Sindall PLC and Charles Tyrwhitt Shirts LTD.
